Articlu legal

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 19, 2026

Please read these terms carefully. They explain how you may use Articlu, how subscriptions and payments work, and what each of us is responsible for.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and [YOUR LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] ("Articlu", "we", "us"), the operator of https://articlu.com. By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Articlu service you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.

If you use the service on behalf of a company or another person, you confirm that you have authority to bind them to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Articlu is a software-as-a-service tool that helps you plan, write, optimise, schedule and publish articles to websites you control, such as your WordPress site. Features include AI article generation (SEO, news, editorial, in-depth and custom-template formats), title and keyword tools, bulk scheduling, image and video insertion, site SEO analysis and search-engine indexing requests.

We may add, change or remove features. We will try to give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what you have paid for.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password and any connected-site credentials secure. Tell us immediately at support@articlu.com if you suspect unauthorised access. One account may not be shared between unrelated people or businesses.

4. Subscriptions, prices and payment

Articlu is a subscription service. There is also a one-time free plan with a small fixed allowance (a few articles, one published article and one connected website); it does not renew and has no free trial period. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Each paid plan includes a number of credits every month (a yearly plan receives its credits month by month), and each action uses a stated number of credits (for example an article uses 10), which are shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard. Unused plan credits do not carry over to the next month and end when the plan ends.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns of such orders. Paddle collects and remits applicable sales taxes, VAT or GST, and issues your invoice and receipt. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us; cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

If a payment fails, we or Paddle may retry it and may suspend access to paid features until payment succeeds. We may change prices for future billing periods and will give you at least 30 days' notice before a change applies to your renewal.

Unused usage allowances do not roll over to the next billing period. If you exceed your plan limits, certain features will pause until the next period or until you upgrade.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary, you can request a refund within 14 days of a charge if 20% or less of the credits from that charge have been used; credits already used are not refundable. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right you have as a consumer.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • publish unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, deceptive or infringing content, or content that sexually exploits minors;
  • create spam, link schemes, doorway pages, fake reviews, impersonation, misinformation presented as fact, or content designed to mislead search engines or readers;
  • connect or publish to websites you do not own or have permission to manage;
  • circumvent plan limits, share accounts to avoid paying, resell the service, or use automated means to access it other than through features we provide;
  • probe, scan or attack our systems, or interfere with other customers' use of the service;
  • generate content in a way that violates the terms of the AI, search, video, social or website platforms we connect to, including the Google and WordPress terms.

We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, with or without notice where the breach is serious or repeated.

7. Your content and AI-generated output

You keep ownership of the keywords, prompts, settings, images and other material you provide ("Input") and, as between you and us, of the articles and other output generated for you ("Output"), subject to these Terms and to the rights of any third parties. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display your Input and Output only as needed to operate and improve the service for you, to secure it and to comply with law.

Output is produced by artificial-intelligence models and may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, biased or similar to content that others receive. It is not professional (medical, legal, financial or other) advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking and editing Output, for adding any disclosures the law or platforms require, and for deciding whether to publish it.

We do not guarantee that Output is free from errors or that it is unique, original or free from third-party rights, or that it will pass any plagiarism or AI-detection check. You must not rely on Output for decisions where mistakes could cause harm without independent verification.

We do not use your Input or Output to train our own models. Our AI providers process it on our behalf to return results to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Connected websites and third-party services

To publish for you, the service connects to accounts and websites you authorise, such as a WordPress site (through an Application Password or our plugin) and, if you choose, your Google account for Search Console (through the official Google OAuth sign-in and APIs). You authorise us to act on those accounts only to perform the actions you request or schedule, for example creating, updating and scheduling posts, uploading media and submitting URLs for indexing.

Google, Google Search Console and WordPress are trademarks of their respective owners. We are an independent company and are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Connection credentials are stored encrypted. You can disconnect a site at any time, and you should also revoke the credential on the website itself. Third-party services have their own terms, availability and limits; we are not responsible for them, for changes they make, or for content published to your website after you have approved it or scheduled it.

9. SEO, indexing and results

Search engines control how and whether pages are crawled, indexed and ranked. We provide tools that follow recognised practices, but we do not guarantee any ranking, traffic, indexing, revenue or other outcome. Keyword volume, difficulty and similar metrics shown in the product may be estimates and should be treated as guidance.

10. Our intellectual property

The Articlu software, website, branding, templates, documentation and all related intellectual property belong to us or our licensors. Subject to these Terms we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for your internal business purposes during your subscription. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the service except as the law allows.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a free, perpetual licence to use them without obligation to you.

11. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, and the service depends on third parties (hosting, AI, email and search platforms) that can fail. Support is provided by email at support@articlu.com.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, if payment cannot be collected, or to protect the service or other users.

On termination your right to use the service ends. Articles already published to your own website stay there. After closure we delete or anonymise your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law) will survive.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, search rankings or traffic, arising from or related to the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

15. Your responsibility for what you publish

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you publish using the service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of a law or third-party right.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by [YOUR COUNTRY / JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence and to rely on mandatory consumer protections there. Please contact us first at support@articlu.com so we can try to resolve any concern informally.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will notify you by email or in the product at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
